Under the canopy of a gum, by a river at Eldredge Wines, in the Clare Valley, the location was idyllic, and the shade of the tree offered a beautiful respite to the searing heat. Kirsty and Clint spent a few years living in Port Hedland, so a 42 degree day for their outdoor wedding ceremony didn’t really faze them. Myself, on the other hand, had a wet chamois around my neck for cooling (which was bone dry in 10 minutes, anyway), and two very hot black camera bodies alternating in my hands – if the weather in South Australia wasn’t so dry, you could’ve wrung me out at the end. But I didn’t stop smiling! The ceremony was beautiful and the whole day was a lot of fun. Such a gorgeous family.
Special thanks to Sonny, for second shooting and helping carry my gear.
